Palmiet Nature Reserve Bird Directory

The reserve is located in Westville in Durban and has hundreds of bird species recorded and incrediblte bio diversity. It is a protected area, constantly under threat by man's development of urban structures and clearing away, although efforts have recently been taken to proclaim the area as a reserve which has added extra levels of protection for the survival of species.
